Khloe Kardashian’s engagement was far from ordinary, and the wedding won’t be so ordinary either, says the bride’s stepfather, Bruce Jenner.

“Khloe keeps saying she does not want a traditional wedding,” Jenner, who raised Khloe from the age of five, told reporters at the opening of Palazzo Las Vegas’s Lagasse Stadium Friday. “She does not want the first dance thing. There is no maid of honor as of right now.”

At 4:30 on Sunday, Jenner plans to walk Khloe down the aisle at the house of a friend in Los Angeles where the ceremony will be held before 250 guests. Set to wear a dress by Vera Wang, Khloe will have sisters Kim and Kourtney in her bridal party, though Jenner doesn’t know who will be on groom Lamar Odom’s side.

“I just met him a couple of days ago,” Jenner says of Odom, a player with the Los Angeles Lakers. “He seemed like a wonderful guy.”

Jenner admits that even the way he found about Khloe’s engagement was unconventional: he heard about it on Ryan Seacrest‘s radio show.

“Honestly I thought it was a joke,” he says. “Then I was on the driving range later that day and someone came up to me and said, ‘Congratulations, I hear your daughter is getting married.’ Then it was on the news that night and I thought, maybe there is something to this.”

Any fatherly advice for the bride-to-be? “You’ve seen [her] show (Kourntey & Khloé Take Miami),” Jenner says. “You don’t give Khloe advice.”

Lamar Odom decided to bail at the last minute on his stripper and midget-filled bachelor party hosted by Joe Francis and issued the following statement to TMZ:

“I am extremely thankful to Joe Francis and Rob Kardashian, for agreeing to host my bachelor party this evening at Hollywood hot spot Les Deux.
I regret, I will have to cancel this event because I have now decided to have a private dinner with my teammates, a few close friends and of course Joe Francis and Rob Kardashian.”

I’m not sure if this is foreshadowing for Khloe being left at the altar this weekend for a dramatic episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians (Calling it now.), but there’s only one other person I know who’d turned down a bachelor party full of strippers, particularly tiny ones: Tom Cruise. That’s all I’m saying.

For a last-minute affair, Khloe Kardashian and Lamar Odom‘s wedding—scheduled for this Sunday—is coming together quite nicely.

Life & Style has new details on the impending ceremony. Let’s start out with—what else?—the ring that Los Angeles Lakers forward Odom picked up for his bride-to-be. Nine carats, radiant-cut diamonds, a pavéd band…no wonder Khloe describes it as “amazing.”

Khloe will have to wait until Sunday to find out what’s up with her bridal party, however; sisters Kim Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian are tasked with assembling the seven bridesmaids, and they’re keeping mum on the details—even to the bride-to-be. “My bridal party is a surprise to me,” Khloe says.

Of course, Khloe’s mom Kris Jenner is helping out with the quickie arrangements—in particular, choosing the gifts for the wedding party. According to an eyewitness who spotted the bride-to-be and her mom at XIV Carat in Los Angeles on Monday,

“They were looking at heartshaped necklaces for the bridesmaids and rings for the groomsmen.”

If you’re looking to pick something up for the happy couple, you should hit up Williams-Sonoma or Gearys in Los Angeles, where the pair are registered. Oh, and if you’re not among the 250 guests who have been invited to the ceremony, which will take place at the Bel-Air home of music bigwig Irving Azoff, don’t worry—the whole shebang will be filmed for eventual airing on one of Khloe’s reality shows.

Sigh; isn’t it all so romantic?

Odom, a forward for the L.A. Lakers, and Khloé recently have been “talking about rings,” says a source close to the couple.

Members of the Kardashian family are neither confirming nor denying the wedding plans or a date. A rep for both stars have declined to comment.

The planned marriage would be the first for Khloé, 25, and Lamar, 29, who had three children with his former longtime girlfriend, Liza Morales. They have a 10-year-old daughter, Destiny, and a 7-year-old son, Lamar Jr. (On June 29, 2006, Odom’s 7-month-old infant son, Jayden, reportedly died from SIDS while sleeping in his crib in New York.)

Sources say Khloé and Odom met over the summer through mutual friends. “They instantly hit it off,” says a source. “It’s like they’ve known each other for years.”

Khloé first confirmed to E! they were dating on Sept. 4. “He’s a great guy,” sister Kim has told us of Khloé’s beau.

While Lamar is her tallest romantic partner (at 6-foot-10), he isn’t Khloé’s first pro athlete beau. Last year, she dated Rashad McCants, a 6-foot-4, 210-pound guard for the Minnesota Timberwolves.

This makes Lil Mimi want to cry.

While Alyssa Milano is slated to star in ABC’s Romantically Challenged, the 36-year-old is doing just fine in the romance department off the set.

Milano married talent agent David Bugliari Saturday at his family’s

estate in New Jersey, E! News has confirmed.

The former Charmed star palmed a lily of the valley floral bouquet, as she strolled down an aisle sprinkled with cream colored rose petals and grass in a custom gown designed by Vera Wang, according

to People Magazine.

Rather than enter the wedding to traditional “Here Comes the Bride” tunes, Milano instead walked towards her husband-to-be to John Lennon’s “Imagine”.

Guests, including “Hangover” star Bradley Cooper, watched the couple exchange vows under a gazebo weaved with calla lilies, willows and roses.
